 Distortion X (split BSG), Yugoslavia 1987 They started as a rather fast punk/hc band, released a cool screaming lp, and then offered us THIS MONSTER with much more sludge - this is doomier than a night with Electric Wizard, and actually has nothing in common with the stoner sound. Could be seen as a precursor of the Burning Witch / Eyehategod dirge, yet Distortion X have a very distinct sound, unique vocals, weird metallic musical segments and twisted guitar parts. Powerhouse!
