This reincarnation does not feature any previous member of Carnivore, but they found a new Peter Steele who is really great, in sound and in ugliness (formerly from Sheer Terror). The trio is also decomposed of a former Crumbsuckers guitarist and a former Whiplash/Kreator drummer: Carnivore A.D. is serious radioactivity. We are entering the era of band dynasties. And this iteration is a great tumor that grows on the legacy of Carnivore & Retaliation in sound, style, power and disgust. Absolut stinking thrashing brilliance! The only flaw of this records is its length, and size matters: only four songs fill the ears and the heart of the true zerist. We could have sucked on thrice the size!
