It was less apparent due to the confinement of the internet in 1985 to the pages of MRR, but the PC police was already extremely virulent, and S.O.D. was a hot target. Nevermind the aristo-punks, Speak English Or Die is as full of pubescent bad taste, monster riffs and killer songs as day one. The thing ages very well and grandma is moshing in all directions! The CD version contains an excellent cover of Inferno's Ram It Up. Then the other releases are OK, but of course that first album remains why they are such a dirty rotten classic super group (featuring shareholders of Anthrax and Nuclear Assault / Brutal Truth).
