That brand new Abyss is another fine cavern of classic, doomy death metal with a layer of their trademark illegal riffs. This band owns its signature. Now this new cavern is cleaner and more polished than their previous dwellings, even if its content is as ugly and menacing as ever: the risk with better, larger production is to lose a few points in barbarity. But fear nothing, today trading a garrote for a surgical blade is not a losing proposition. The meat shall end up as livid and still. Death 'til triplazering death! In spirit, but they display even more inspiration from Incantation, Abhorrent, Carbonized and other such fine purveyors of extremely oppressive, dense and dark sound waves. They are not as weird as Portal, but equally heavy and menacing. Not a lot of originality but 666 tons of hairy invocation of all the evil, pummeling intensity and malevolent riffage with a clear will to bury the listener into...the... mass grave!!! Odori is the king of death in this triplet of releases. Absolute bliss of the concussed cranium! Immense delectation of the decaying flesh! Deathonizer of the giant cannibalizer!
