Proboscis

Proboscis - Stalemate 1998
01. Proboscis - Stalemate, 1998 CD Album
     Diehard Music Worldwide - PCD-28
Overpower of world class maxizer! Obstinate digging into the truckloads of shit that polluted the 90s soundscape and some luck could help finding the kind of buried gems that Proboscis delivered (at least this album, I never heard the earlier stuff). I sold many, many albums bought in this period, but I will always hold on to this one because it is a real killer outburst of energetic and high class, ass-kicking metallic hardcore. Here I hear the almighty Scat Opera getting some Meshuggah inspiration between a couple of Rollins Band sections. The production is excellent and adds to the percussive value (a Dan Swano job). The non-stop supply of groove and thrash sculpted by these awesome musicians bangs your head against the floor, and you demand more of it. Urgently awesome!
!ZER Proboscis ZER!

To follow up on the very philosophical discussion of a few weeks ago about the central planning of society and the evil of money, here is an interesting article with higher quality arguments.

90s humor!
