On Friday, I was expecting to see my bi-annual gig: the legendary TOXIK! I had bought tickets three months ago and was salivating for the return of the 80s tech thrash legends. Meh! The band was stopped at the border, forbidden to enter territory by the armed mafia known as the custom officers. Show canceled, of course. WITHOUT THE GOVERNMENT, WHO WOULD PROTECT US AGAINST TECHNICAL THRASH METAL SHOWS? Anally fuck the State eternally with infected chainsaws! This state of pissed-offness remaining vivid today, here comes the offerings of General Surgery and their disgusting grind-gore-crust onslaught. As far as early Carcass impersonations go, General Surgery remain in the top three. It is just perfect in size, intensity and catchiness, it is just brilliant - the ideal soundtrack to recreational cop torture. Long live the explorers of the dead meat and burn a custom guard alive!!! Remove brackets and unzip: [campaign for cop dismemberment] !ZER General Surgery ZER! |

There have always been claims from trve experts that BC are the trve inventors of heavy metal, not Black Sabbath, because their version of Summertime Blues is loud, nasty, distorted and anterior to the Black Sabbath album. Whatever. BC released a batch of great bluesy rock albums in the early 70s and in the 80s some nasty hard rock. Favorites: The Beast Is Back and Blitzkrieg Over Nüremberg. Temple Of Void - Of Terror And The Supernatural, 2014 CD Album Limited Edition Rain Without End Records - RWE005 02. Temple Of Void - Lords Of Death, 2017 CD Album Shadow Kingdom Records - SKR127CD Doom, death and more doom! I came across this band searching for new stuff during a random youtube browsing hour and was ordering the CD before the end of the first half of the song. Absolutely first class demonstration of total doom! Not the funeral sort, more like the super powered crunch of early Paradise Lost hybridized with Massacre and Bolt Thrower without the fast parts. Of Terror is a perfect introduction, and this perfection is perfected on the unbelievable Lords Of Death, the masterpiece of peak doom propelled by a sound production larger than the universe and addictive songs that stay with you for days. At least with me, and for months, like new classics. Temple Of Void possess the gift of song writing on top of the knowledge of the architecture of massive groove and they go far beyond the expression of plain force. The art of doom! Tetragrammacide - Primal Incinerators Of Moral Matrix,
2017 CD Album Iron Bonehead Productions - none Monsters exists, and they live among us, in India. They are invincible and they make a lot of noise. Proof: Tetragrammacide. I was attracted by this album title last year and have not ceased being mesmerized since by the sonic apocalypses it delivers. You thought you knew how far metal music could stretch its boundaries and now they moved further again. be amazed. The black death that strikes the listener like the thunder from the other side of the zeriverse also induces shining awe and instant addiction. One must play it again, now! Too bad these lads did not have the opportunity to erase Trudeau from the physical plane during his recent trip to India. If you are into the Dark Descent / Iron Bonehead trademark metal massacre, do not miss Tetragrammacide, champions of the deathiverse in ultriplazering super condensation from the caverns of gigawatts! CD long ago, but it was only the Suck Your Soul EP. So here we go with the exquisite and complete collection of the known and unknown recordings of D.E.Z., including a 30 minutes bonus live show. If you are into typical Japanese hardcore thrash, these Zombies are damn exciting: they perfectly unleash the fury of all the codes of the 80s japcore established by the likes of Gauze, Lip Cream, Deathside, Systematic Death and all the legends of that scene. Fast, raw, pissed and crude thrash attacks for triplazering effect! The thrashiverse is bleeding! Remove brackets and unzip: [thrashonauts] !ZER Damnable Excite Zombies ZER! |

Intense Mutilation

Intense Mutilation - Safe Sex,
1989 Vinyl LP Album New Renaissance Records - NRR55 After the average, let's dive into the horrendous. This record is pure shit. The music is very bad noisy messy sloppy weak punk thrash. It is recorded like shit and they can't play. There are no riffs. The "lyrics" are supposed to be funny, but they are impotent. The "jokes" fall so flat it hurts a deaf person, and I am a very easy audience for bad jokes. It all sounds like Jackass tried to release a follow-up to S.O.D.'s Speak English Or Die and missed the mark with an error margin of 9,040 miles. Intense Mutilation is to Sore Throat what Crass is to Pink Floyd. What were NRR thinking? Why waste resources and time on this? It must have been a bet, or a money-laundering scheme (in that case, I loudly applaud). This is the right soundtrack for an antifa gathering, the awfulverse hath crapped again! Taake - Kong Vinter, 2017 CD Album Karisma & Dark Essence Records AS, Svartekunst Produksjoner - KAR134CDD, HOEST012 A Taake post was certainly not planned, but since the young fascist apes known as "antifa" managed to get the Taake tour canceled, it was inevitable. That being said, I do not really care about Taake. They are (he is) not bad, as in "standard second or third wave black metal" rehashing the Darkthrone formula, including the pictures in hooded capes, with trees in the snow. Nothing remotely new nor pushing the limits of "extreme" goes on here. I do not need extreme or new all the time, but at least the blossoming of an addiction. Taake leaves me cold (too old, too cold), and I'll return to Cultes Des Ghoules. But for the sake of "antifa", today is Taake day. Remove brackets and unzip: [antifag] !ZER Taake ZER! |

Here comes a semi-endless supply of short bursts of noisy hardcore to make your ears happier than your neighbors. In my expert and absolutely not humble opinion, the best release of this lot is the Infernal Command album which displays the crossover turn the band took. Of course, this is delivered in short bursts of super pissed crossover of the kind that the almighty Golers like to generate. Awesome! And Infernal Command also comes with the best sound production compared to their earlier stuff. I have seen no new release from them since 2008, anybody knows what's up? A couple of other as pissed yet longer albums would be very welcome. Thrash til crossozer triplazer! Remove brackets and unzip: [MeToo] !ZER Vöetsek ZER! |
