And then I was totally blown away by all the rage and chainsaws on that record. As raw and obnoxious as No Sleep Til Hammersmith! Everything louder than everything else! I hadn't heard Discharge yet, but even after that ritual had been accomplished, the Exploited have remained a constant and guilty pleasure. Troops and Let's Start A War are completely unavoidable street punk classics, but every other entry in their discography is a must too. The grafting of metal riffs make The Massacre and especially Beat The Bastard incredibly killer crossover albums, bang that head that doesn't bang! United Mutation is so amazing and juicy and hairy that you get almost three times the same stuff, but with different song orders or bonus tracks depending on the release. The 7'' has live tracks.
