So today we do not only have the classic 1987 split LP full of thrashcore of the nasty sort that fans of Cryptic Slaughter and Discharge will enjoy. We also have the 2 discography CDs that gather all known material (1986/1989) from both bands. The Boss Tuneage comp is an amazing and complete release, but the Desecration one is an excremental bootleg due to the fucking abuse of compression which leads to ridiculous saturation and volume changes. This is not listenable. Guys, listen to your shit before sending it to the pressing plant, please. Computers look like magic, but they're not, ooooh! Too bad because Desecration deserved better. I don't know how true is the assertion that Michel Houellebecq is the most famous francophone author in the world. For those who care about his written production, I just finished his Goncourt-winning novel. I needed to check why he was awarded this prestigious prize, because the first three books I read from him were very dull in style and content. This one is a little less... useless, It is a text that opposes no resistance, it has the consistency of Schlagsahne, it slips down your neuron like a charm, It does not consume much time. That's the good part. Now for the down side, either I am still that smelly mammal that is unable to grasp the subtleties of our friends the artists, or this book really is another harmless spoonful of white cheese supposed to denounce the quietly vicious evils of desensitization and individualism in modern society - capitalism no good, where be happiness, and so on. Ooooooh man, what a powerful suppository. Literary prizes are as despicable and corrupted as music or cinema prizes. Maggots.

NRAR. If you already have the CD rips from the Ludichrist/Scatterbrain post, don't waste bandwidth for these vinyl rips, the We Bite CDs are a totally faithful and much better version, having none of the multiple cracks & pops of the records and featuring one more song. Yes, these records crack because they are the leaders of the Eternal Zer Top Ten crossover department, therefore they were constantly played for years and more years. Yes, 1986 is the year of Reign In Blood and Darkness Descends, but it is also the year of Immaculate Deception. It was unbelievable, it still is. There is an immense mountain of boiling memories in both these time machines. Now the F.O.A.D. compilation is an outstanding release and its acquisition is very much recommended. Killer artwork and booklet, and 3 sides of material from demos and live recording. The demos do not match the zerness of the albums, but the live side is jaw-dropping. It is most of Immaculate Deception played almost faster, and rendered with a very good sound quality. Absolutely killer gigazer!! Enjoy with your foie gras and champagne! Trauma

Trauma - Scratch And Scream, 1984 Vinyl LP Album      Shrapnel Records - SH-1017 The hype around this album was pretty intense: Trauma was the band that Cliff Burton was playing in before joining you-know-who. Upon first listen, I was expecting something heavier, more killemallesque. But the initial disappointment vanished quickly because this is an excellent speed metal album. Maybe not at the level of Exciter, Abattoir or Agent Steel, but close. Laaz Rockit fans can only love it. It is more than a mere comet in heavy metal sky, it is a brilliant star in Zer City's Speed Metal panorama. PS1: I am unable to find a copy of the Blitzkrieg CD "The Mists of Avalon". Fans of Testament/Exodus/Machine Head might want to hear Chris Kontos rise to excellence. Adjustment til zer! I just noticed that the American paranoia CD reissue features the same artwork except for the swastika. But they kept the hammer and sickle. Ultra spiritual.
