Yes Noisem are mainly influenced by the old school crown of victory (early Grave, Morbid Angel, Dark Angel), but this is not merely yet another retro band. This album reeks of intense passion and infinite energy, you cannot not bang your skull on the nearest anvil while playing this stuff at 11. Not exactly, but old fossils know what I mean: instead of the noisy and frantic thrash of the Heresy / Mob47 dynasty, we get here a more subtle balance of melodies and classy punk abrasion at reasonable speed.
