Sabbathizer sympathizer! Yes, this is complete, unapologetic, non-stop Black Sabbath worship, and it is very great. The heavy riffs are well served by a clean-dirty production that also makes the prehistoric beats even larger. And then there are the powerful female vocals that detach this lot from the standard stoner rock industry. This is massive doom of the late 70s sort, combining the best of the Ozzy era with the darkest and most haunting of the Dio era. So, no, with Clorange you will not embark on a journey through novel sonic facilities, but you will return to the origin of everything that is slow and grand. If you enjoyed Demon Lung and Left Hand Solution and Goatsnake, if you wish to get back the heavier days of Avatarium and Blood Ceremony, Clorange is the next stop. Doom til zer!
