Institute - The Piano Player, 2003 CD,      Yellow Dog Records - 40 Request zerring and happiness. Here come the three major tumors courtesy of Institute. There are many things here. Especially a short black crust coating large swamps of psychedoomelic floaters as elaborated in the best nightmare of the plumber who works in Neurosis' basement. Awesome. The Piano Player sits in my suitcase for the desert island. More happiness: the interrupted download problem is supposed to be solved. Scream if this is not true. !ZER Institute ZER! Ghoul - Intermediate Level Hard-Core, 2013 Vinyl, 12'', Blood Red      Clearview Records - CRVW Out of the many Ghoul navigating the industrious punk & metal oceans, here come the grind (early) / thrash / surf entity. These dudes can pass as a Gwarcass offspring, but they deliver more than that, at the amazing level. Splatterthrash and Transmission Zero are little masterpieces or totally catchy metallic thrash, with the occasional beach beat and the headbanging choruses. And even if you're not into metal, you MUST get the Intermediate Level Hardcore plate, it contains supra killer covers of Dayglo Abortions, Willfull Neglect, Gwar, N.O.T.A. and Fearless Iranian From Hell! Generic

01. Generic - The Spark Inside, 1987 Vinyl, 7", 45 RPM      Flat Earth - FE 003 02. Generic - Generic / Mortal Terror, 1988 Vinyl, LP      Meantime Records - COX10 03. Generic - Torched, 1989 Vinyl, 7", 45 RPM, EP      Flat Earth - FE 004 An ancient request now rezerred: dirty thrashy hardcore crust, this is great and all, but the real problem is that I have been unable to put my hands on the Electro Hippies split. Sorry, the vacuum of time did its magic. The Torched EP is surprisingly melodic and sad, the Mortal Terror split gives good (except for the lyrics...) classic metalized punk from both bands like the slower parts of E.N.T., and the hottest piece here is the very awesome The Spark Inside EP: Amebix and Hellbastard dance togezer, and I hit play one more time! !ZER Generic ZER! Hallows Eve - Monument, 1988 Vinyl, LP, Album      Metal Blade Records - D1-73290 Tales of rezer! In the ancient time before Youtube, Metal Massacre 6 was my introduction to the classics of classics Possessed, Hirax, Nasty Savage, Dark Angel, The Obsessed, Hades and natürlich Hallows Eve. That was one of the hottest year for metal. Then Tales Of Terror came out and I could not stop listening to it - equidistant to Slayer's Show No Mercy and Iron Maiden's Killers, too good to be true, one of the most eternal burning speed metal masterpieces. The other two albums are great too, of course. But Tales Of Terror sits on the zerrest pedestal of Hell Awaits, Infernal Overkill, Executioner's Song, Animosity, Dealing With It!, Power From Hell, Behind The Realm Of madness, Morbid Tales, Screams From The Gutter... long live infinite lists...
