Capital Scum - Clutch The Flag,
1986 Vinyl 7" EP 33 ⅓ RPM Hageland Records - HH002 02. Capital Scum - Tsjerno Kills, 1987 Vinyl LP Album Hageland Records - HH005 I bought the 7" because the logo says: we are GBH fans. Their music does too. Therefore if you are a GBH fan, you know what to do. The 7" is by far the best piece here, offering a strong delivery of that classic 80s hardcore punk sound. Natürlich, one also finds the Discharge legacy in that short piece of plastic that caters on the fringe to E.N.T and Rattus fans. The LP goes the same way but, there is a but, the vocals sound lazy and diminish the impact that the album could have had. Now bang your head to energetic Belgian hardcore! Remove brackets and unzip: [socialist plague] !ZER Capital Scum ZER! |

Nice post Zer... And I agree with you about the differences between the EP and the LP... The Long Play just sounds like they're going through the motions... Sounds like a million other things that came out that year.
