LawShed were a Japanese thrash metal thing and that should be a high selling point already. With the thrashification of Exodus | Overkill in the riffing department, LawShed develop a heavy duty pair of great albums that may rival the early output of Jurassic Jade, ShellShock or Outrage, especially on the first release. The second album goes in a slightly less standard direction - one may detect a sonic connection to Ningen Isu - and I can only wonder what marvels they might have graced us with had the band survived a few years longer, my reference being the awesome direction taken by ShellShock.
