when war begins...truth disappears, Germany 1992 massive, 1993 against everyone, 1994 kill your enemy, 1996 The prolific German metal scene gave us many classics, among which "against everyone" should be considered as an unmovable piece - this record is the missing link between late Carnivore and early Type O Negative. This is a complete nasty thrash masterpiece. Also Warpath cover Venom (Cronos sings on their "black metal" cover), Carnivore and Cro-Mags, and this is a good description of their sound. Much groove and MASSIVE METAL THRASHING ZERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!!! CD rip. Warpath on Encyclopaedia Metallum |

Hell this is really an evil peace of music...not like the wanna-be Black/Death Metal of many other bands of today. How can it be I didn't know this? Shame on me !!
ReplyDeleteThis is truly intense! They weren't too popular either, not fancy enough. Also they came out at a time it was all about Swedish metal and grunge, bad luck for such a great beast of true metal.
ReplyDeleteagainst! that guitar sound - WOW! good record even though to repetitive riffs at times.
ReplyDeletedo you happen to have the 'head meets wall' demo from the guy that later would take the place of the warpath singer?!
