Force Fed - Claustrophobia,
1989 Vinyl LP Album In Your Face Records - FACE 08 02. Force Fed - Full Up And Loaded, 1989 Vinyl 7" 45 RPM Single Limited Edition Records - RARE 003 03. Force Fed - Elounda Sleeps, 1991 Vinyl LP Album Sycophant Records - SYC 04 04. Force Fed - Fast Forward, 1991 Vinyl 7" 45 RPM Sister Records - SISTER-03 AAR. Fresh rips of these marvelous records (remaining to re-rip: S.O.B. and Raped Teenagers). Force Fed's marketing point was the involvement of Heresy's bass player on Claustrophobia, that would sure attract a lot of attention. But the music stands by itself extremely strongly and zerly. Claustrophobia is a pure pearl of super powered dark hardcore that illuminates (with black photons) Eternal Zer City's Top Ten Central Palace. The twisted mix of Amebix, Bl'ast! and Bad Brains explains the ultimate altitude of this (way too short) record. The next releases were more straight forward high quality hardcore thrash that may remind us dinosaurs of Life Sentence or RKL. Ditto for the EPs. First rate, world class, highest golden zerness of 80s hardcore forever and beyond! Remove brackets and unzip: [zer fed] !ZER Force Fed ZER! PS: I regularly receive moot requests like "post more punk, less metal" or vice versa. These requests will be entirely ignored. Be specific and post in the requests forum. I cannot manage requests for trends as it depends on my mood. Anyway, I think it's pretty much well balanced between punk and metal. If you don't think so, go watch Mad Max and come back in tears. |

Of course, Zer, you are right in this punk metal thing. This blog mixes these styles in the best possible way. United forces.
ReplyDeleteFuck requests. This is your blog, innit? If all you posted was what I requested, I would never discover stuff I may have missed over the years.
ReplyDeleteSo requesters, shut up and be patient. You'll eventually get what you want and very possibly during your wait get what you need.
Band requests are fine. I'll be glad to post (sometimes after a long while...) what I have.
ReplyDeleteBut style requests will not work.
