2022 Vinyl LP Album Stereo Crucifux Records - cr04 digital, not LP Punk's not dead! Nostalgia for actual punk rock? Obnoxious! will help, vigorously. The Church met Wattie, the brain and guts behind Obnoxious!, when we were young and thin, over 30 years ago. Old times, new sounds. This album is a great tribute to what the band was about at the time: it is a brand new recording, not a gathering of old demos. The content is the energetic and joyful punk rock'n'roll that made our heads bang 40 years ago, perfectly delivered with the in-your-face two-riff songs, the fun vibe, the gang choruses and the vindicative lyrics (America and selfishness seem to suck, again). Take a trip back to the future of Minor Threat and UK Subs with a stolen Discharge riff and smile until the end of the day! ca a l'air d'etre tres bien son passage avec nagui a wattie, tout comme d'autre ont ete s'amuser avec Évelyne Leclercq, Simone Garnier et Fabienne Égal... d'ailleur on aimerai bien savoir, charlie oleg, il est sympa ou pas?
DeleteC'est malheureux mais je n'ai pas eu l'occasion de tchacther avec Charlie Oleg. En revanche Fabienne Égal était fine et chaleureuse, contrairement à Évelyne.
DeleteCe n'est pas un genre que j'écoute énormément, maid Dead End produit un excellent punk rock de fiesta, efficace et bien foutu. Je ne savais pas qu'ils étaient passés à une émission de télé.
