The Icemen - rest in peace e.p., USA 1991 This is NYHC, but not the bad taste, teenager, moralizing, justice-league anal hardcore of Youth of Today, Bold and all the acne-ridden straight-edge crap. Here we go with an excellent Cro-Mags rendering of metal and hardcore (with Mackie from Cro-Mags/Bad Brains on drums, zer!). Too short (4 songs) but most excellent crossover! ZER! Hey Zer!
ReplyDeleteYou have got great taste man! I just discovered your site through a friend. I've downloaded the Straw Dogs (origins and etc) awesome. Being as you seem to have all thee classics I was wonderin' if per chance you had the Accused's "Martha Spatterhead 12" from 1985? Its the first appearance of Martha, but I'm sure you know that already. If you don't that's cool too! Keep on Zer-rin'! Thanx again>>>Rg (my names pronounced Arr-Gee)
P.s. come an hangout with fellow Zer-sters: downunderground.blogspot.com
Zer! I am preparing a post with the complete discography of the Accüsed (well, all the albums, not the 7" - most of which I missed anyway), including the 1st album ("the return of martha splatterhead" blue cover edition on Subcore, that extends the 1st release you mention). There will also be the "hymns for the deranged" hard to find lp.
ReplyDeleteI shall browse to your blog tonight, cheers!
