Riot - Unleash The Fire, 2014 CD Album Limited Edition Steamhammer, Steamhammer - SPV 1267900, SPV 267900 According to Last.fm's bureau of statistics, Riot is the band I listened to the most in 2017. So let's hear what's in this almost four decades long output. There are a few black dots in this series - I have a hard time with the Rhett Forrester albums and the excessively cheesy Irishmore - but the main course - everything except 1982/1983 and Irishmore - is entirely awesome hard rock and speed metal, with a few layers of cheese in the form of ballads, you know, heavy metal ballads. But the rest was meant to become classic material. They could have made it to the front league with Judas Priest and Saxon and Iron Maiden. My most favorite is the victorious Immortal Soul - that one has a particular energy, the first song is simply the most exciting metal anthem on this side of the Zeriverse. Riot till the breaking of all necks and the banging of all heads! Riot in 2018 and a rocking new year! Remove brackets and unzip: [whats it gonna taaaaaaake] !ZER Riot ZER! |

WOW... I was only used to early riot the Rhett Forrester albums. Never herd Immortal Soul before now. Thank for posting. I had no idea... Very Cool.
ReplyDeleteOMFG!!!! Outstanding. Riot Kicks Ass.
ReplyDeleteHi. All albums are uploaded to mega.nz, but Inishmore's link points to churchofzer.com/flac storage. Is it correct, you still use that storage?
ReplyDeleteThat was a mistake, sorry. Fixed just now.
DeleteNo, I will not use the old storage anymore. Let me know when such problems occur.
Ok, thank you for that. And for this church as well!
DeleteInteresting, that track titles don't fit for tracks on #11 & #14.
ReplyDeleteCorrect track listings for:
#14 - https://www.discogs.com/Riot-The-Brethren-Of-The-Long-House/release/6005251
#11 - https://www.discogs.com/Riot-Inishmore/release/2572214
