Acrid - Eighty-Sixed,
1997 CD Album Dirty Kidz - DIRTY KIDZ 001 Raw metal and nasty hardcore as concocted in the 90s German scene: a noisy and abrasive mix that grinds and tears to pieces. This is not nice, not catchy and not energizing. It is made to make you cry and then bleed in the cold. It will drain you and remove that smile from your face. I'd rather listen to Tumult or Mörser, but Acrid can aptly satisfy an appetite for rapid fire dissonance and violently screamed disgust. Prepare to be assaulted with rusty blades and then trampled upon in an abandoned warehouse. Remove brackets and unzip: [sixsixsixed] !ZER Acrid ZER! |

Acrid, His Hero Is Gone and Cavity were in heavy rotation on my Creative Nomad Jukebox. Great album.
ReplyDeleteAlways thought this lot were from Canada (discogs reckons Ontario). Were they actually German?
ReplyDeleteYou are entirely right and I have been completely wrong all these years, they were from Canada.
