This is so good we have another big question mark as why did they not get bigger than Nirvana ? The Beyond were in the same universal class as Living Colour, Scat Opera, Primus, Tool, Victims Family an Assassins of God. The four guys in the Beyond are all living gods on their respective instruments, their songs are too fantastic to be true and stick to your brain for years. It is like early Tool with a jazzy approach. Perfect darkness with the right heaviness and the best melodies. ON YOUR KNEES!!!! ZERRRRRRRRRR!!!! And the best part of it is that I had only bought "crawl" because of the artwork, having not heard 1 second of the cd before. Complete ZER. Zer: - "no excuse" has a DK "california über alles" cover - "crawl" v1 is the European version with 11 tracks - "crawl" v2 is the US remixed version (better, heavier) with 12 tracks minus "nail" from v1. Unfortunately, I do not have any of the Gorilla discs or the other Beyond mini cds. Soon! Zer! CD rip. the Beyond on Wikipedia w/bio and exact track listing, MySpace link etc. |

Very hard to get hold of.
I got to see these a few times.
I also have their 1st 12" (back in my mother's place the other side of the world) which doesn't contain a song of any later album.
I will upload it at some stage.
Didn't they release an album in 95 too?
Sorry I never noticed. The vinyl I have is in fact No Excuse which is here.

They also released a flexi disc exclusive to Kerrang magazine readers, featuring a song from the Crawl sessions.
I can not remember it, or the name.
I think I still have it somewhere and never transferred it to digital.
