The left hand of black metal never rests. Furia now resides in that special heaven in the zeriverse where sonic giants like Type O Negative or Cobalt know how to ignore boundaries without being in free fall. Furia are much more than black metal ("nekrofolk" they say), they are music with axes and bulldozers and also trees and rivers and poison and serpents from unknown continents. This is one of my marvels of the 21st century. So much awesomeness between war and slumber, pillaging and meditation ! To top it all, the exceptional fast, slow, intense, quiet, hypnotic music is propelled by a perfectly adjusted production that heats the whole plate to its ideal temperature. Not computer-sounding polished, the instrumental moves and the wizard voices are perfectly conveyed to the reptilian cortex like a piece of vibrating meat. It is impossible to define the favorite entry, although Nocel and the very special Luty will require the physics and chemistry Nobel prizes very soon. Extreme level of zer!
