Cauldron Black Ram sound like their moniker and logo: menacing and twisted from the depths of chemical warfare. On a deep and black foundation of death metal that finds echoes in such diverse entities as Korpse, Ripping Corpse, Autopsy, Coroner, Bolt Thrower, Beherit, Purtenance, they make an array of brain-damaging sonic molten lead that put them firmly aside. The death punk spirit of United Mutation and YDI may even be detected with appropriate eardrum tuning. The ability of Cauldron Black Ram to disjoint apparently regular beats and dislocate remotely classic riffs without sacrificing the flow of the songs is an expertise that very few bands have achieved. The assault is not comparable to the math-metal acrobatics of Car Bomb nor to the extreme hallucinations of Gigan, it is much more subtle in its own barrel of oil and much less proselytizing the micro-riffs aesthetic. The derangement of Cauldron Black Ram is much closer to the ultimate Church reference in heavy deformities: Eisenvater, especially I and II. And this is why the Church elevates Cauldron Black Ram to black star status in the zeriverse, they rule by the sheer power of muscular hypnosis and vicious aural deception that triggers immediate and irreversible addiction. Total death in the tumultuous meat river from the basement of the 666th multi-conic dimension! Founded by former members of the classic Grim Force and Narcotic Greed, Hate Beyond sound more sophisticated than Grim Force and more brutal than Narcotic Greed. They actually have more of a violent European thrash sound than of that Japanese vibe, like a close cousin of Holy Moses, Protector and Dead Head with this Exodus polish and that Gotsu Totsu Kotsu accuracy and acceleration. This is pristine metal performed by experts to dislocate your neck. Armed To The Teeth is an amazing and improved re-recording of Bonded In Hell, but all albums rip anyway, it is difficult to rank them. The first one has maybe the advantage of ignition and discovery.
