Ultrarmaggedon triplamegazer!!! Highest defenestration of the soundgasm!!! Overheated saturation of the joy glands!!!  Enter the epic soundscapes of samurai metal and bang your head non-stop against all impenetrable surfaces. Gotsu-Totsu-Kotsu deliver merciless thrash metal with death metal prongs, fangs and claws. And swords, of course. The first album has this early Entombed / Clandestine concupiscence that we sweat for and is a monster in itself. But without trying to diminish this marvel of an effort, the highest giant here is the second album. What an invincible Godzilla of sound and dark fury! Add to the Entombed layer the radioactive riffing of Dark Angel  / Darkness Descends and some of the evil concussion of early Mutliplex. I am again becoming all wet just thinking about it. The truth is I am also listening to it while typing this. Once a day is a minimum. No, Gotsu-Totsu-Kotsu do not innovate a lot, but they don't need to. They reinvent the wheel and now it rolls even better thanks to their unlimited talent in song writing and execution. This is flawless, the solos are amazing, the riffing eats you from all angles, the vocals penetrate every pore of your amazed meat and the rhythm section is simply perfect. You have never heard such bass lines and rumbling sound in a thrash/death album. Long, flawless, purely organic songs, this is music for mammals. And there is a Pink Floyd cover. I am flabbergasted and we should all start a Gotsu-Totsu-Kotsu cult.
Ezernal hyper granitic gratitude to Tosser for pointing me to Gotsu-Totsu-Kotsu. Formidable passion to CDJapan.co.jp for super prompt delivery, excellent prices, and general awesomeness in the catalog. The sun is shining. The universe is abundant. Mankind is great.

Today is dusty hard rock day. When these CDs came out, they already sounded old school. This is early Sabbath worship, with its own personality still standing on its feet among all the sabbathing: the Sabbath cursor is not as high as in St-Vitus or Count Raven. All in all, you are not on the fringe of a new musical revelation, but if you are in the mood for sabbathesque hard rock, these albums are totally excellent. Totally. And maybe a notch more than that.

This world is unfair, some requests have been sitting for 2 years on the list, and yet I am today fulfilling a request made yesterday. Unjust! Armagedom thrashes the crust until it fries. Good dirty hardcore, not the highest peak of punk mountain, but abrasive enough for a Winter day.
This is the only album I have, don't bother requesting more Armagedom.

And a very, very special and loud thank you to Elliot for pointing to God's Not Dead! I had such a busy weekend, I watched Dracula Untold, Exodus and... God's Not Dead. Had it been compiled a couple of days later, Dracula and Exodus would have bravely fit in the top -3, because these two little turds are true first grade pieces of ultracrap of Transcendence / Lucy density, but nothing special: we are now used to the excruciating unquality of movies. Dracula is just the usual, long, disjoint, incoherent diarrhea with romance syrup and blond Turks. Exodus was as fearless - gOd as a young chemotherapy boy, and Batman as Batman. It does not even feature the opening of the Red Sea, and drags on forever with its chair-IQ-level characters. Brilliant! However, no stone-robots like in Noah, disappointing.
I wanted to see this! Give me my Old Testament back!
Ok. But God's Not Dead...
God's Not Dead sits on a whole new level, a luminescent place of its own, an entirely new territory of shining perfection. Words are weak, words would only betray the essence of this movie, you can only watch it to understand. Thank you Elliot! For adults only!

My immune system is now boosted to 11 for a couple of months. Cheers!

The cattle is back from the battle. They were Charlie. We can now resume our futile topics, like the 2014 top 10. It is top 10 season, right? What is the Church Of Zer 2014 top 10? Who knows, who cares? I bought too many amazing CDs this year to waste my neuron on sorting and ranking. What about books? Same thing, except I don't think I read any book published in 2014, so the list would be empty. Now, movies.... The top 10 would include Dead Snow 2 at position 1, and nothing else. I have watched several not-so-mediocre 2014 movies, but the not-so-mediocre don't belong to a top 10. However, the top -10 would have 2,000 entries. The winning trio that immediately come to my mind, the 3 most amazingly shitty pieces of crap movies, the ugliest vomits of pus I saw that passed as cinema this year were undoubtedly Transcendence, Lucy and Robocop (and Noah, let's make the top -3 a trilogy in 4 parts). Yes, I saw several other shits of Olympic status (like the incredibly boring nullification of humor: Space Station 76), but these 3 were so fucking bad they were good. Extreme LOL factor, shining masterpieces of ridicule, greatest waste of pixels and petroleum. True, I haven't watched Divergent, Hunger Games, Exodus or Interstellar yet, and these are all very promising too. If you have recommendations regarding other such children movies, leave a comment. But why, why should I waste more time on bad movies, you ask? Any book would be superior, and I enjoy reading while listening to loud music at the same time, so if the book is bad, I didn't entirely waste my time, whereas a bad movie is always a complete loss. Not mentioning neuron atrophy. Yes, but watching a bad movie is such an easy way to feel superior (to the subhumans who made it) that it must be good for the immune system. I should be starting a bad-cinema-therapy business. Ommmmmm, the universe is talking shit to you, the universe is abundant with worse than yourself, don't you feel better already? It'll be $450.
Also, I would have liked to shit once more on the Zero Theorem, but it was released in 2013.
Don't forget: download, don't pay for movies. May the movie industry disappear to /dev/null forever. Download music | books and buy those you like! Play chess! Amen.

The deathstival is ending. Back from the picnic. Thanks for your support. Let's see how it unfolds. Time to have Terrorizer sing the song. Incredibly, it took all these years to have a Terrorizer post. In 1987, the Napalm Death Peel Session floored my meat for its unparalleled savagery. A similar experience reiterated in 1989 with World Downfall. This time, since we were already accustomed to the sound of the grinding death that ND made popular, it was more about the shining perfection of the aural sledgehammer, the military execution the the thrashing blast fest, the merciless surgical chainsaws. It is only logical that WD has remained the grindcore bible. Welcome To Hell, Reign In Blood, Peel Session, World Downfall. Recorded and mixed in 8 hours, for zer's sake. Yes, Darker Days Ahead was not as exciting as expected, but it is still a great album. Hordes Of Zombies is much better and a classic already thanks to its killer riff factory and the general bulldozing it provides. Terrorizer larger than ever triplazer!!!
PS: yes, the last 3 Nausea songs are missing. This is a rip I did in 1996, and rescued from a CDR. The missing songs cannot be read, the CDR is fucked, and I cannot re-rip the LP (sold it long ago). The universe is harsh. I was told this week that I have no clue about the true nature of the universe.

May all superstitions disappear forever in the bottomless toilet of the universe. Today, a band of subhumans killed and maimed dozens of people in Paris in the name of their imaginary gOd. Is it actually a manipulation covering political blackmail, as conspiracy theorists will no doubt explain? Or is it true religious fanaticism? Or is it entirely something else? Who cares? Even when motivated by more pragmatic agendas, it is only in the name of superstitions, political or religious, that wars and terror can be waged. All the time. On defenseless and disarmed people, as experts in cowardice can only operate. No one will ever derail a train or bomb a sad satirical magazine in the name of electromagnetism.
And now, watch all our parasites in chief, from Obama to Putin to Anchois Groland, express official mourning and outrage. How delightful it is to hear outrage from these same samples of human diarrhea who, in the name of democracy and human rights, killed (with your money) many many more people than today's repulsive Charlie Hebdo attack. It's like hearing Pol Pot complaining about Nazi atrocities. Not mentioning of course that such attacks happen all year long without nearly as much outrage. But today, it is seriously serious: the media were hit, not mere third world children and peasants.
Politicians, gurus, assassins, may mouth cancer take the lot of them.
It is therefore relevant that Satan provides us with the soundtrack of the day. Then one may switch to Cripple Bastards and Mournful Congregation for the other extremities of the emotional spectrum. Meanwhile, let Satan light up the hearts and minds of real humans with the perfection of unadulterated heavy metal. May the beauty of Satan disintegrate the poison of superstition into the bottomless septic tank of the universe.
SATAN LIVES FOREVER!

The second post of 2015 could only be about that that has the name of the Evil Entity. Satan 666!
The first EP is the hardcore staple that never ages, it is one landmark of greatness, a blueprint in the style. What an amazing little record. 32 years later, still as pissed off and vicious as day one. Thank you State. Then, when I first heard False Power, I had this aftertaste in my mouth that had also been left by the second Die Kreuzen or White Pigs albums. What, incursions into hard rocking territories, wasn't that treason? I wanted more binary thrash! Ah, but once this reaction of the punk immune system driven by teenager hormones wore off, the beauty and the world class of False Power could do their magic and put the album in the unmovable Zer City central park. The return of 2006 is also a great thing, back to the early hardcore formula. It exactly sounds like what it is : the revival of early youth by middle aged, inspired punk rock musicians. Excellent and energetic! I have no idea if the band is still roaming or plans to do anything else, but in any case we can only be grateful for such killer music. Zer State til the ned of time!
