Absolutely classic stuff that should steer you away from even trying the new Iron Maiden. And the two come-back albums are entire classics of their own. Bitches forever rezer! I visited today: it is an awful mess of 80 thousand unclassified records. I did not even come across a Def Leppard record. The most exciting thing I found was a Jean-Paul II LP but I already have it. I left after 30 minutes, unable to cope any longer with the tediousness of it all and the rap music they were playing in the warehouse. You have been warned. |

Adrenalin O.D. - The Wacky Hi-Jinks Of Adrenalin O.D.,
1984 Vinyl LP Album Buy Our Records - BOR-12-002 02. Adrenalin O.D. - Humungousfungusamongus, 1986 Vinyl LP Album Rough Justice - JUST 5 NRAR. Another set of vinyl rips not included in the previous AOD post. Be thankful to our QA department for noticing all these holes in the posting. These two albums are still the crazy classics they have always been, especially the supra killer Humungous and its gum-contracting speed and tear-dropping riffing. AOD forever triplarezer!!! Remove brackets and unzip: [adrenalizer] !ZER Adrenalin O.D. ZER! Since we are dealing again with ancient classics, let us recap the new releases that have graced our aural conduits in Q3 2015 that could become classics. The underground is always extremely prolific, and the Church highly praises, recommends and worships already the new Raven, Venom, Skepticism, Vhöl, Satan, TK, Systematic Death and a bunch of others. 2015 is great for old monsters. But in the major leagues, all is not as exciting. The new Motörhead is a vibrant disappointment. I really wanted to like it because it is their 40th birthday and the digibook looks awesome. But the album is flat and uninspired. Still no match for Another Perfect Day, their last classic. The new Slayer is equally boring, not even as thrilling as Divine Intervention, which says a lot. I really wanted to like it, I even bought a mega box full of CDs, DVDs and picture disc. But alas, Repentless is flat and uninspired. I'm not even going to bother listening to the new Iron Maiden. They have only released flat and uninspired shit for over a quarter of a century. Their only listenable releases since 1988 were live discs featuring pre-1985 songs. May they be eternally cast to the nearest golf club in their shining airplane. The true kings of the overground in 2015 are Saxon. Battering Ram is a complete masterpiece of unadulterated crunchy and catchy heavy metal, it is their best album since The Power And The Glory, maybe since my favorite Strong Arm Of The Law (not counting all the excellent live albums since then). Saxon forever! |

Cold World, Extortion - Extortion / Cold World,
2013 Vinyl 12" 45 RPM Repress Regurgitated Semen Records - RSR 128 , Compilation Contains 18 songs by: Cold World, Extortion Yes, this is a reload. However, even if the rip is not new, the tags & file names are now correct. The sides of the record were inverted in the previous upload. The music is still the fast & teeth-fracturing thrashing speedcore that old fans of Heresy, Siege and Septic Death need every other day. Rattus - Turta
01.
Rattus - Turta,
2013 CD Album Svart Records - SVR246CD In the desolate wastelands full of bioterrorizing prehistoric megamonsters, the only ancient creatures to survive are the cock roach and the rattus norvegicus. From the distant past to the toxic mists of the EZTT, they have fed our inner beast with those Discharge-inspired attack of chainsaws of the early 80s that have been upgraded in the past decade through strategies of increased sophistication and melodic infusions. Turta is not a 1984 revival, the wall of noise is polished with punk rocking angles in continuation of the two previous amazing albums. Yet the backbone of the typically Finnish hardcore sound still fuels the whole operation and we bang our skulls on the floor. Rattus will never die! Nuclear Assault - Live At CBGB's, 2014 Vinyl LP Picture Disc Dry Heave Records - HEAVE009 NRAR. A wise nutritionist would not recommend to have two 80s classic thrash metal posts in a row, but this article reminded me of this song, ergo, Nuclear Assault on the menu today, for the missing vinyl rips plus an excellent new live release; great picture disc, good soundboard recording, killer set. Too bad side one ends up abruptly in the middle of a song (note de la rédaction: not my ripping mistake). Now, Game Over remains my favorite and will always stay near the very top of the 80s EZTT of Thrash Metal Heaven because I know the future. But the other two are of course high caliber Nuclear Assault and we all smash our foreheads against all the large solid objects around in a compact epiphany of nuclearizerrrrrrrrr!!!! Voïvod - Target Earth, 2013 CD Album Century Media - 8961-2 From the very depths of zer... VOÏVOD!!! Requested, zerred. In 1984 I was browsing the stock in the records section of a national store (FNAC Belllecour!) during one of my monthly trips to the city. There was nothing I knew or was expecting, but I had to buy at least two records otherwise the trip would be wasted, so I took a chance with War And Pain: it was on Metal Blade, there were songs about nuclear war and the artwork was disturbing (I heard someone say "I'm not taking this, it looks nazi, look at the helmet!", so I took it). Back home, played the thing and almost collapsed in a climax of disbelief. This thing was insanely powerful and killer, more evil than Venom, darker than Slayer, heavier than Destruction! UNBELIEVABLE! I spent the next year drawing the Voïvod logo on the classrooms tables. No Angel Rat, didn't like then, forgot about it later. The Eric Forest section is then probably my favourite after the first-five-albums perfection of the discography. The return albums since 2003 are good to great, more rocking but not as vicious as the almost-black metal attacks of the Forest albums - Phobos is one piece of hell. And the To The Death demo reissue must not be missed! No-one rips like Voïvod! THE IRON GANG WILL NEVER RUST! VOÏVOD UNTIL THE FINAL DISSOLUTION OF THE ZERIVERSE!
