Not so much an early Carcass recomposition, this perfection of an album (the Church consumes it in the same perfect state of bliss as any Pretty Little Flower, Crash Syndrom, Vomit Spell or Internal Rot) develops the gore side of the Cryptopsy album None So Vile. At least its most brutal and disgusting sections. Very few death of black metal can rival in intensity with goregrind, but this is compensated with greater qualities in the composition, production, and execution. Not here. This goregrind is perfect in unmatched speed and brutality, it also sounds huge, it is executed like a spotless autopsy and there are great dynamics and variety in this sonic morgue. This is no bedroom project, this is Pharmacist level ambition and mastery. This is fucking insane! We want more albums from Dismembered Flesh Mutilation!! Had it channeled the energy of those early Grave Digger or Running Wild albums, satisfaction would have reached higher altitudes, but it is even to this day too tame, was there an attempt at radio success?
