Holland

Holland - Early Warning - 1984 01. Holland - Early Warning, 1984 Vinyl LP Album
     Ebony Records - EBON 17
Aaaah the Ebony years! Nostalgia and zer. Holland were sitting near the top of the Ebony rooster, just after (in descending order of zerritude) the amazing Chateaux, Savage and Grim Reaper. Holland played this kind of quality hard rock, with just the right amount of cheese. Good vocals, great solos, energetic global delivery, marvel of NWOBHM!

  3. Oh glorious days. ^^ Remembering all those Ebony bands. Remembering buying the first Grim Reaper and Slayer "Show no Mercy" the very same day back in early 1984. Already had the first Chateaux and the second one was yet to come. ^^ I have to admit, I liked Slayer a lot better, "Black Magic" being one of the best songs I ever heard (still valid today), right next to "Angel of Death" (a little later), but I feel like losing the topic again. Grim Reaper was awesome anyways. And I still dig that classic NWOBHM style. Groundbreaking stuff. Yeah...
