Major excellence in punk thrashing! Paint It Black is surely one of the greatest beasts I heard in recent times in the classic hardcore division. The first two albums are short fuses of Sick Of It All-based headbangers. Great delivery, with the catchy side lurking under all the roughness. But the masterpiece here is New Lexicon. That one showcases the full ripeness of their craft and develops a large Swiz influence. High class execution of first class compositions with advanced arrangements and superb production value: terrific everywhere! Dark and awesome! Heavy yet subtle! Enriched triplazerocking classic-level album!

  1. These guys fucking rock. The only band formed in the 2000's that is able to compete with the still living bands from the 80's and early 90's....there was a old school hardcore punk revival in the late 90's but it ended kind of abruptly around 2002. Then these guys formed in 2003. I got all the EP's they released since The New Lexicon LP in FLAC, ask me if you want them, I just "Invisible" EP, I'll have to rip it, too bad I got to boot into windows to do that, Linux Mint doesn't understand my turntable, Audacity there is a waste, it rips but there's no bass, well there is but it will not come out of a typical subwoofer + 2 cans hundred dollars computer sound setup. Reply to this if you want and I'll give you a way to get 'em.
