If you snore at the sound of Malmsteen or even Friedman's solo albums and need more meat than just a show off of virtuosity, these albums are the perfect link between actual songs with a speed metal edge and the actual show off. Absolutely brilliant! Some arena-cheese may indeed be found here and there, but overall this is all great hard rocking metal, I'll take that any day over Helloween.
