The explicitness of their moniker makes Speedwhore great marketers of their product: the true zerist immediately hopes to love that band. And it works, for Speedwhore very successfully incarnate the Teutonic thrash recipe as developed by Deathrow, Destruction and Iron Angel. It does sound German! And it rips like early German speed metal while maintaining a melodic approach that never gets in the way of the very metal hostility. The Church favorite entry here is the 2015 album The Future Is Now, a treasure of killer and bombastic riffing that completes the ancestral Teutonic thrash legacy extremely well.
