The whole output from Oozing Wound could have surfaced between 1987 and 1993: crossover, evil hardcore and noise rock for customers of Alchemy Records and Wreck-Age. The first four releases deploy a nasty mix of early The Accüsed and Sacred Denial and Mind Over Matter and Clown Alley, over a general slab of sludge, while Cater slows down to let the sludge take over, do we even hear the distant echoes of The Scam and Eyehategod and Shellac?
