The true zerist is a complete fan of Sadus, Dead Head and all the most rabid thrash metal one can unearth with bare hands and teeth. Detherous carry the flame of that aggressive brand of thrash metal that can be traced to early Kreator. The headbanging never stops, and the blood flows without restraint among the broken skulls. The high-water mark here are Hacked To Death and Stench of Deth: perfection in flesh burning! Unrelenting Malevolence is musically as potent and bone-breaking as its predecessor, but a mistake in the mix makes it painful under 12 beers (the snare track trigger is badly managed, and engages erratically). Amazing album nonetheless, but please remix it without the trigger. Until then, we'll bang our heads against the center of the thrashiverse!
