Apostasy

Apostasy - Sunset Of The End + Fraud In The Name Of God - 1991 01. Apostasy - Sunset Of The End + Fraud In The Name Of God, 1991 CD Compilation Limited Edition
     Proselytism - none
     Reissue from 2013
Chilean death thrash at zerring altitude and speed! From the dawn of the 90s emerges this magnificent reissue, in the traditional style of Proselytism 7" size digipak and perfect artwork. Amazing reissue. Beyond the exceptional packaging, the music goes like this: "It rips, it shreds, it buries the corpse in a deluge of rotten and reeking blood. Highly recommended for fans of anything from Dark Angel to Possessed or even Sepultura's finest hour(s)." (stolen from the Metal Archives review). I would also link Apostasy`s sound to the German thrash attack of early Kreator and earlier Deathrow. Killer thrashing triplazer!
Speaking of death row, our subhuman friends from the Church of State did again today what they do best: kill people. We need more worldwide state apostasy, total rejection and complete dissolution of the state, this evil, cannibalistic superstition. Satan, help us!

  1. Dude, put on more of that kind of stuff. After your Chilean trip you sounded like putting on your next "Very large post" with tons of Chilean or maybe other South American Death or whatever Metal. Totten Korps rock and these guys also ROCK!! Thx a bunch. Never heard of either one of them before. So keep them coming!! Cheers

    1. Oh yes, there will be more Chilean black death, but not at once. First I need to complete some of the discographies.

    3. Ugh, just noticed they apprear to have had a new release back in 2011 called "The Great Apostasy". Can't get hold of it though. The only place I actually found it is a dubious Russian download service that urged me to install a downloader. Yeah..right. ^^ That service used to good though. Obviously they turned to these shady methods just lately. Too bad. Screw em!!

    4. Hmm, re-recordings for the better part, so it seems. Just one song (and the intro) that isn't part of the compilation. Anyways...

    5. No, downloading a downloader is not a good idea.
I hope more new stuff will follow this reunion.

  3. I have that "The Great Apostasy" if you wanna trade for this, I got the files from the band but Cris Profaner who's the only original member of the band now told me to take it down because it didn't represent the band,he even took it off the archives page,I had an interview with him about this and he said that the other members at the time didn't do a good job and it basically was that he didn't get along with his old band mates so he deleted it,to me it's a good release nothing wrong with it at all especially the song "I Killed the Priest" which is about some kid in Chile that actually did this.
