Great Post.. I'm about as HC as the dead center of a LARM moshpit stuck in a tornado, but the 3 albums that you posted are required listening, especially "Too Fast For Love"... That LP has as many qualities of old New York Dolls, Johnny Thunders style punk as anything. I revisit pre-84 Motley Crue very often... I have plenty of old bootlegs from that timeframe also, mostly mp3 unfortunately... Rock on Zer!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely, too me the first two rock not far from the Dead Boys, Agent Orange, Kraut, the Germs... But of course it's cheesy!
DeletePeople are so quick to click on the "awful" button, and if I had to guess, most people are under 30-35 years old. Probably never bothered to listen to it... "Electric Love Like Sandra Dee.. And You Shoulda Seen Her Dance"!
ReplyDeleteYou're probably right. And Mötley Crüe have been too successful not to attract the wrath of the defenders of the underground (from a computer). Let's dislike Mötley Crüe!
DeleteAgreed!.. Again Thanks.
