DEI Still Has An Anti-Semitism Problem

When I started listening to metal(lic/lized)(hard)core in de mid-90s this band was often referenced (together with Integrity of course on whose qualities and merit we obviously differ in opinion ;-)) when trying to describe the hot bands of the moment, especially a bunch of German bands (the "Bremen Sound") but I actually never sought them out. So thanks ZER, time to fill this pothole of neglect in my auditive experiences.
ReplyDeleteAlso if that 'Bremen Sound' tickles your interest: check out these: Acme, Systral, Mörser, Aclys, Carol, DeadBeat, … Basically anything off the Per Koro roster ca. '94-'97
Ah yes AcMe, Carol, Stack and the almighty Mörser, who were already posted here. Don't know the others.
ReplyDeleteIt's been so long since I last listened to Integrity I might like them again! I should try.
thank you, Zer! for reminding me of them (and for the rip)
ReplyDeleteThe sound on this is terrible, but some of the tracks aren't found elsewhere on CD. It's necessary for those. If you want a better sounding CD of the Remain Sedate and Protestant tracks, get the CD that came out around the same time as the 2LPs a few years ago.
ReplyDeleteAny dl link?
