Shellac - Dude Incredible, 2014 CD Album Touch And Go - TG404CD Alt-rock, or post-punk, or whatever - Shellac rule the sound of scalpels. In these old ears, they have always sounded like a reply to NoMeansNo with enthusiasm for colder words and no screams. And like NMN, they have a gift for infectious grooves and mind-bending stop/go architectures under elongated bridges of words. Shellac rocks util you drop! UPDATE: All download links here. Remove brackets and unzip: [fruits] !ZER Shellac ZER! ATTENTION: this is not a test. The hosting provider for churchofzer.com just woke up after 5 years to the fact that large zip files are downloaded from here. This is apparently a breach of their ToS and I have 2 days to remove everything before access to the site is blocked. I do not think an alternative exists at a reasonable price. I am not to upgrade my current plan to a dedicated server and pay even bigger $ to satisfy the increasing quantity of visitors of this blog. So the only alternative is to switch back to free storage like Mediafire. Generating content through these free hosts will demand more work from me (because I currently generate every post automatically, now I will have to manually replace download URLs), so the frequency of posting will decrease further. Everything that is currently available for DL directly from churchofzer.com, including this post, will be gone by tomorrow night. UPDATE 11/28: to avoid taking any risk of the site being taken down, all zip files are now removed. For those who missed the Shellac, find them all here. All other archives are gone forever. |

ReplyDeleteOnce again thank you for your effort to keep this place alive.
To the death!
DeleteCheers.
Have you checked this storage providers https://www.ulozto.net/
DeleteThis one seems promising, thanks for the tip!
DeleteDude, that's bad news...again. Those fuckin' hypocrites and nitpickers do keep on getting in your hair, don't they? Couple ideas crossed my mind. First off...you said the quantity of visitors is increasing. So why not ask for donations to limit the financial burden? Or would that be beneath you? Maybe you tried that in the past and it didn't work? The history of this place is a whole lot longer than my attendance after all. Second...there are alternatives to Mediafire. Actually I think Yandex is great free storage. Fast dls, reliable, ok capacity. Should be able to sustain the fast in fast out policy. If you're getting trouble (capacity or otherwise) just make another account (I have four ^^). Uploading can be pretty tedious though. But I don't think Mediafire is that much faster. But there is a tool for Yandex (I don't use), so maybe there is a way to automatize uploads in a way. But I don't really know what it does save facilitating uploads bigger than 2 (or 3) gigs. By the way...I don't like the torrent idea too much. For a couple of reasons. That's about it. Finally...BIG THX for trying to keep this place alive and not throwing in the towel. Two thumbs up!! Cheers & hugs from Germany R
ReplyDeletei've seen people posting stuff on VK lately... some examples:
ReplyDeletehttps://vk.com/sharp8knife
https://vk.com/public33214856
you can stream and even DL , i dunno about posting large FLAC files, but i think it's possible, there's even videos being posted there.....
thanks for all the effort, all these years.... really man, THANKS.
Thanks for the support!
ReplyDeleteThe site will continue until the gestapo puts me in jail for IP violation.
From now on I will store the files on a combination of Yandex, Mega and Mediafire and all will be well.
No ads, no paid subscription wall (the donate button for voluntary contributions is still there at the bottom of the Uzer`s Guide page).
Whoa, my bad. ^^ I actually did miss on that one up to now. Maybe you should put it somewhere a little (just a little) more obvious. So it probably was a good idea after all to bring up that matter. ;) Cheers R
Deleteyes, and yes, good idea :-)
DeleteThe seedbox facilitating has carried compelling answer for this issue and empowered clients to transfer BitTorrent documents of any size to their electronic seedbox facilitating account.Dan Seedbox
