    Oh WOW!!! Thank you for adding the unofficial releases of one of the most iconic metal bands of all time. RIP Quorthon!

    I was sold on Bathory from the first song I heard. They were compared to Venom at the time but were miles a head in terms of speed and hardness!!!

    And just as everyone started to imitate their sound (in form of Death Metal), Quorthon reinvented the sound with Blood Fire Death … KILLER UPLOAD!!!!

      I do not think the old ranking between Venom and Bathory is more relevant than the previous Motörhead / Venom comparisons. Bathory proceeded from what Venom had done and then went their own way. Both rule!

      Thanks for the NB compilation upload btw! It reminds me of the 1984 Death Metal compilation that I had bought for the Hellhammer unreleased tracks. Not getting nay younger...

      I agree, definitely only the next step in terms of speed and brutality, but Venom will always keep a special place in my heart. I even still enjoy their new material (both fractions).

      Yeah, the old 1984 DEATH METAL compilations is pure nostalgia! Never gets old!
