The thing with Japanese hardcore is that it never becomes obsolete nor irrelevant. It ages more gracefully than wine and maintains value just like gold. Decades later, it still delivers the invincible energy it packed during the 80s. Nightmare prove it again. When addicted to Death Side and Gauze, the early output of Nightmare is a very potent addition to the pharmacy. When hooked on Paintbox and Forward, the newer releases are what the doctor orders. Nothing unheard before, everything pushing the excitement needle to 11. Nightmare all night long!

  1. Agree completely with our illustrious host's assessment of Japanese hardcore. I believe it's because those Japanese kids who break from the conformist societal structure of their country do so with absolute abandon and joy from the release. Hearty thanks for the post.
