A satanic classic: grim rocks, a distant church under the moon, at night (for the moon context), in Fall (to have depressed vegetation - please note the absence of snow). For those who dig white makeup from Scandinavia, mosquito guitars and funeral keyboard, this is a solid record of dirty 90s black metal. It's reasonably fast and groovy enough, with just the right amount of cheese (i.e. shy keyboards). If you enjoyed the earlier material from Gehenna, you'll like this excellent album (one of the very few survivors of my thinning black metal collection). It won't hurt you as much as Spaceboy but it will give you the fix of 666 ZER! Thank you Satan, or Nietzsche, or Thor.

dirty dog 7" dirty dog CD (7" + 8 tracks, probably another 7" - ep sounds better...) Back to crazy Japanese thrashing hardcore of the distorted sort. This is so great my eyelids are solidifying. Fast, full of rage and more abrasive than anything else except Exclaim! Yeah, Exclaim addicts will infinitely enjoy Hisataka. I don't know if it came out in the 80s or what but it certainly respects all the non-metal|all-destruction japcore codes from the era. Gauze, early Rose Rose, Systematic Death, HISATAKA! FUCK YEAH!
