Blind Illusion - The Sane Asylum, 1988 CD      Metal Mind Productions - MASS CD DG 1095 As advertised in all the zines, Larry Lalonde plays guitar in Blind Illusion, so as a true Possessed disciple, I blindly buy The Sane Asylum. After the initial disappointment of getting melodic thrash metal instead of brutalizing Seven Churches death metal, I let it gather dust until the sunny day of 1990 when I buy the invincible Frizzle Fry and notice these are the Blind Illusion dudes, Lalonde and Les Claypool. So I play The Sane Asylum again and I've loved it ever since. What an adventure! LP not rippable, too many cracks, so you get the excellent MM CD reissue.
