Requested rezer of one classic piece of Swiss metal history. Somewhere between mid-era Coroner and Voïvod, this is brilliantly crafted post-thrash (which means no agricultural explosions of aural debauchery but technically improved constructions layered on thrash riffing) augmented with a magnificent cover of Husker Dü's Diane (it appears on both releases!). I wonder why they disappeared; at a time when Celtic Frost where worse than Metallica, there was room for the blooming of Calhoun Conquer. I bet my best underwear we will never witness a Calhoun Conquer reunion. It is sad, but thanks to the magic of the worldwide funneled electrons, we can still all delightfully consume these classy releases. Thank you electricity.

Now sit tight and watch the hilarious combined disaster of the worst of the cinematographic assembly line that has already delivered an infinite supply of catatonic and nauseous catalogs of mongoloid pixels teaming with the bottomless pit of musical diarrhea that has polluted the metal world for 25 years finally sink in sync to the nadir of /dev/null:

2505 is nearer than you think!

  1. Metallica Through the Never? What is this shit?

I know the mighty fall, but will they ever stop falling? Cliff Burton has likely rolled over in his grave and used his skeletal claws to dig a path straight to hell to escape this abomination.

  2. Don't know them but as soon as you mentioned Coroner and Voivod I had one of those "uou" moments because just yesterday I was listening to them. I'm going to give them a listen.
    Cheers
