    1. Some of the file names are too long, so If anyone has issues while extracting LP3, CD1 and CD2, shorten the file name before extracting.

    2. Shit, I didn't think about that. Thanks for the tip.

  3. THANKS! (Try using 7-Zip to extract these, as the filenames of some tracks are too long for WinRAR.)

    1. Yes, apparently there are 3 files with file names too long to handle by WinRAR, Either try other extraction software like 7-Zip or WinZip, or rename the files in the archive (open WinRar, select file and press F2 or single-click). This is happening because I zip my files with my own compression software and it does not have file name limitations.
      Sorry about the inconvenience.

  6. File and folder names of this length create problems with a lot of software. I had problems with them in: Trader's Little Helper, Bulk Rename Utility, and with Windows 7. It isn't just you.

Thanks, Zer. I wanted to hear a lot of this.

    1. Absolutely!
The secret is this: my FLACs are not tagged manually, that would be cruelly inefficient. I just run my own little program that fetches from the Discog Json API gateway the data about the release to tag, and automatically applies it to the files. I decided to add in parenthesis the headers (grey lines on Discogs page) in the related file name and song title tags. So it all depends on the Discogs data. Long data... long file names.
      Long live automation and machines.

    1. The Accüsed was already done. The last time I did a Cryptic Slaughter post, Metal Blade had it removed (but I will try again :-).
