We're far from the original onslaught of thrashing crossover metal punk of the early releases. A couple of songs still deliver a polished version of that heaviness, but these two albums mostly fit the requirements for restaurant background music. Quiet ballads and delicate pianos shall calm you down for half an hour and ease your digestion. The very amazing thing here is that the Church is so addicted to Japanese singing that even these un-thrashing albums trigger instant gratification and replay. It's just funny they keep using this band name, they'd probably earn more popularity on the radio or in their favorite tea room by just using the name of the singer, or something about nice Fall days with not too much wind.
