Khanate redistribute the Melvins "Lysol" formula for the end of the world with the terminal armaggeddon death of Burning Witch and you just lie there in awe, reduced to an inapt assembly of meat parts. The Khanate live experience (Québec 2002!) was the most intense thing you can imagine and replicates the hammer of Brutal Truth at the opposite end of the speed spectrum. I don't think I ever experienced anything as heavy and disgustingly slow as Khanate. Old School Trivial Pursuit hint: Khanate feature ex Old Lady Drivers members. Argh! Nobody should listen to Khanate. This is pure evil, the worst thing in the world, total fucking nightmare. Yoy won't have the will to live after that.

ReplyDeleteWarning : never listen to Khanate while using machinery or driving a vehicle. Drink at least 6 beers after each album and stay away from ropes, knives and high buildings.
