While all the governments are playing their fascistic games with total impunity - even massive approval, let us navigate the pristine waters of "experimental" rock, as in dissonant grooves with atonal riffing and cold vocals. In my limited experience with this kind of glacial non-metal, I hear echoes of late Carbonized and mid-era Fleurety, and, why not, a drop of the lighter moments of early 90s Voivod. So if you dig tags like "avant-garde" with a jazzy touch, try this Virus. Their spotless discography is highly recommended for a change of aural habits (speaking for myself here!) while not losing the sonic unfriendliness that we crave. While not heavy or anything aggressive, the music propagated by Virus is highly contagious and not nice, ergo excellent. Hard to pick a favorite, all entries here match each other in terms of quality and style, there is not much variation and no bad moment either.
