Today, we deal with Antaeus, a French commando that will not be accused of redefining the genre nor of trying to be original. Their only goal is to splatter as much blood and guts all over the place in the name of Satan, and they know how to do it. The four albums progress in one direction: faster, meaner, more hateful, more disgusted. And the first one already sounds like early Darkthrone on 78 RPM. This is not nice, there are no keyboards, no female moaning, no acoustic interludes, no groovy parts, no headbanging sections, no silly melodies, there is only Satan and destruction and speed - but not to the unlistenable levels of bathroom recordings that plague the industry.
