The Accüsed sure were the most monumental monument of all the crossover thrash industry and remain as viscerally scarred into my meat as any other sacred entity from Bad Brains to Slayer.to Discharge to, hold your beer, Black Sabbath. Fuck yeah! The Accüsed has always been and will always remain one of the most visible, largest, brightest stars in the black sky of the Zeriverse. Amen to the Accüsed. Now this post is not a mere reload, scroll to the end and look at that amazing completion: the Toe Tag people (most of whom have been members of The Accüsed in the 80s, with an ex Poison Idea drummer) return under the moniker The Accüsed A.D. to grace us with The Ghoul In The Mirror, a magnificent release that nicely fits between Open Casket and its super classic follower Maddest Stories. That Ghoul screams and rocks like hell, it is one highlight of 2019 already. This incarnation does not reinvent their classic sound, it asserts the firmness of their grip on that trademark delivery of hard rocking thrash punk metal madness.  The Accüsed forever triplazer crossover ultimizer splatterizer!
